Want to see more of me? Evening reception
Commissioned by the UK Film Council and produced by photographer Donald MacLellan, Want to see more of me? is a collection of beautifully taken portraits of some of the most talented and successful Black actors in the UK including Ashley Walters, Noel Clarke, Sophie Okonedo, Claire-Hope Ashitey, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Colin Salmon and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
Following a series of successful panel discussions and showcases in both Cannes and the Screen writers festival in Cheltenham and raising the profile of the talent and the execs who have made a difference commissioning multi-ethnic film product, the UK Film Council is holding an exclusive reception with the acting talent featured and a selected audience of our industries leading executives as we say a big 'Thank You' to the talent for taking part.
The aim of the Want to see more of me? exhibition is to celebrate our achievements to date in terms of increasing on screen diversity from an ethnic perpective by raising the profile of the best home grown acting talent from the black community
